We’ve all had the suspicions – that we didn’t know the full truth about what the Bush Administration did in the first years after 9/11. We knew some of the broad information – torture, warrantless wiretapping, secret detention, Guantanamo – but even still, it didn’t feel like the whole story.

As you might gather, I intend for my blog posts to be heavy on reporting instead of just being rants. Lots of people on the Internet have opinions, and too few have facts. So, my goal here is to present information that people need to make up their minds on issues. But that means that it will be a few days between posts. So here is what will be coming over the next week or two.

So, before the national condemn-a-thon of the GOP senate candidate from Missouri peters out, let’s take a look at its broader meaning before national Republicans are able to restore the shellac.

I’ve always thought that blogs needed to be more than just rants. Instead, they are the most effective when they are loaded with reporting. And rants. And contemplation. And analysis. And plain old ramblings.
